Education is one of the best sources of Knowledge. A child begins to gather it from a very young age. It keeps them financially productive, develops sustainable livelihoods, and enhances individual well-being. Quality education is implicitly critical for a child to grow into a successful adult.

Unfortunately, our societies did not evolve to flourish as a whole and doesn't treat every individual in equal terms to live as humanely as possible. In every aspect, inequality is the living reality at the moment. Being a human, it is our responsibility to act upon it for a better tomorrow. So we need to unite to put things on track.

Ellorukkum Kalvi Foundation aims at bringing such a change by abolishing inequality and leveling up the playground for all the underprivileged to play their game on equal terms. We believe EDUCATION is one such powerful tool that can lead impoverished children to the path of liberation.

Welcome To

Our Vision

We, at Ellorukkum Kalvi Foundation, join hands for a righteous cause. We work to seek a better tomorrow for children in need of financial support and guidance. We aim to bring change for the impoverished.

With a motive of conserving our native forests, EKF emphasis on uplifting the livelihood of PVTGs by providing educational support to their children

Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs)

In Tamil Nadu, out of 36 Scheduled Tribes, the Government of India identified six tribal communities as PVTGs on the basis of pre-agriculture level of technology, a stagnant or declining population, extremely low literacy and a subsistence level of economy.

The six PVTGs are Todas, Kotas, Kurumbas, Irulas, Paniyas & Kattunayakans.

Surprisingly, all the six PVTGs are found in the Nilgiri District. Each of these tribes maintaining unique cultural traits. Because of these PVTGs, the Nilgiri District has become an important tribal ethnic zone in the world of indigenous heritage.

We can't help Everyone, but Everyone can help someone!
